Hello, and Welcome To My Practice

My name is Balea Avila, RDHAP—some of you may know me as Balea Hooper. I was born and raised in Hanford, California, and my family and I have always been actively involved in this community.

I’ve been practicing dental hygiene for over 20 years and truly enjoy the work I do. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to serve patients in both rural clinics and private practice settings, which has given me a well-rounded perspective on patient care and access to services.

Opening my own RDHAP practice is an exciting new chapter, and it allows me to better serve my community in a more flexible and personalized way. As a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP), I’m able to provide dental hygiene services independently and outside of a traditional dental office setting.

This approach creates a quieter, more relaxed environment where patients can feel comfortable and cared for. It also allows me to reach individuals who may have difficulty accessing care due to scheduling challenges, mobility limitations, or other personal needs.

My goal is to make dental care more accessible, comfortable, and focused on prevention—so every patient feels supported in maintaining their oral health.
